A VIDA DA GENTE PODE SER MELHOR

LYRICS OF A VIDA DA GENTE PODE SER MELHOR
LUNA COHEN GRUP

(bis)

LUNA COHEN AND BEATCHAGAS

Making inroads into the world of music was a complex task. In 2004, Luna Cohen performed at the 20th anniversary celebration of the Drassanes Tropical Medicine Department (PROSICS Barcelona) with several other musicians. In January 2006, Luna Cohen joined us again, this time alongside the guitarist Paulinho Lemos, to mark World Leprosy Day.

Luna Cohen is a Brazilian singer living in Barcelona. As a friend of the project for many years, we knew she would be the right person to write our first song about Chagas disease.

She loved the idea. A few days later, after talking to her mother (a paediatrician working in Minas Gerais, Brazil), she brought us the song “A vida da gente pode ser melhor” (“Life can get better”). The song epitomizes Brazilian music, a perfect way to start our journey.
