At the end of 2014, after finishing the Catalan song “El viatge de l’heroi” (“The Hero’s Journey”) with Eduard Canimas, we began thinking about a song in Spanish. It was not an easy task, since the artist would need to resonate with millions of Spanish speakers from vastly different countries and cultures.

After much thought, we decided to meet with Jofre Bardagí. We explained our idea to him and he was very responsive to it. He understood our need for a global message and for sensitivity and professionality.
